In other news important only to me… I’m 25,000 words into the third book of my fantasy trilogy. Hopefully it’ll see the light of day in the distant future! 🙂

I met Chuck Wendig at a writer’s conference in January and he was an extremely entertaining fellow. I went on to read all of his writing books which were hilarious and informative. I can’t wait to read his first step in Star Wars!

According to the Random House website, Chuck Wendig is the author of post-ROTJ novel Aftermath. The adult book is being released by Del Rey as a part of the (officially canon) Journey to The Force Awakens literature series, which you can read about here. Read on for Aftermath‘s first synopsis.
The second Death Star is destroyed. The Emperor and his powerful enforcer, Darth Vader, are rumored to be dead. The Galactic Empire is in chaos.
Across the galaxy, some systems celebrate, while in others Imperial factions tighten their grip. Optimism and fear reign side by side.
And while the Rebel Alliance engages the fractured forces of the Empire, a lone Rebel scout uncovers a secret Imperial meeting. . . .
Aftermath is scheduled to be released on September 4th, 2015.
As of today, I am a publisher author!

“If a new theory turns out to be true, the universe may not have started with a bang. In the new formulation, the universe was never a singularity, or an infinitely small and infinitely dense point of matter. In fact, the universe may have no beginning at all. “Our theory suggests that the age of the universe could be infinite,” said study co-author Saurya Das, a theoretical physicist at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada.”
There’s more in the article. If this is true, I’m going to have to make some changes to my sci-fi series!
