7451 SR, 1229 BC- 3,980 years Before TERMINUS. DYNASTY BOOK 6.

7658 SR = 1 CE.

1 NG, 10,591 SR, 1911 CE- 3,140 years after founding of Parid

The New Guard Revolution. A patriarchal revolution overthrows the matriarchal Somontran tradition. The ancient title of Majestrix becomes the elected ruler of the Somontran Republic.

212 NG, 10,803 SR, 2123 CE- Earth First Contact. The Naipans invade the primitive world of Earth. A handful of renegade Somontrans intervene. The Somontran Republic declares Earth off limits until they independently develop interstellar travel. Earth becomes the new pop culture of the Somontran people and idioms creep into their vernacular. It was their first cultural exchange in centuries.

407 NG, 10,998 SR, 2318 CE- Earth “invents” the MGDF drive and begins trade relations with the Somontran Republic. Limited tourism is allowed. A small extremist xenophobic group known as the Deviant Party forms.

476, 11,067, 2387- Second Naipan Invasion of Earth interrupted by Somontran intervention. The Deviant Party quickly wins elections, taking control of Earth.

523, 11,114, 2434- First Earth Civil War. Democratic forces who will become known as the Provos overthrow the Deviants. The Deviants retreat to the Americas where they remain in power.

523-576, 11,114-11,167, 2434-2487- The Era of Good Feelings lasts 53 years. The Provos re-open Earth to interstellar trade and tourism while the Deviants militarize.

548 NG- Katherine Cayale is born.

576-581 NG, 11,167-11,172 SR, 2487-2492 AD

The Rise and Fall of Empire. First War with the Ronains. The birth of the Royals and the Great Alliance. “Savior” Katherine Cayale sacrifices herself to kill Kasriel the Dread Prophet.

THE GREAT ALLIANCE ERA:

24 GA- The Second Ronain War.

43- The Children of Savior are no longer selected to be Majestrix and elections are held.

68-71- The Three Years War with the Baraki. They attack every thirty-ish years so that each generation of Baraki has the opportunity to die in battle.

83- The Great Collapse. A renegade banking AI erases the credit record. Stiffer AI regulations are created.

83-109- GA undergoes a 26-year Great Depression after the credit record is erased. Full blown chaos ensues and the government barely keeps control. The Baraki attack sporadically.

134-138- The Four Years War with the Baraki.

177-183- The Six Years War with the Baraki opens with a daring Baraki strike on Parid itself. This is the last time Capital City is evacuated underground until 260.

190- Joanna Cayale born.

195- Nicola MacNair born.

219- Sarah Cayale born.

220- Alfred Kayma and Danni Cayale born.

225- Liberal Deborah Lysing elected to Majestrix. Joanna’s husband dies. Sarah is 6, Danni is 5.

226- Kayma’s parents are killed in a Ronain attack. Kayma becomes ward of the state and later joins Naval School.

227- William London born.

228- Joanna sends Sarah (9) and Danni (8) to Naval School for a year when they become spoiled. Inflation. Unions agree to salary raise caps and no strike actions. Inflation continues to rise and MAJ Lysing renegades on the deal. Bryant Motor strike. Senate divided in quagmire. Bryant caves in to strike, Lysing ineffectually threatens sanctions. Tanker driver mass strike.

229- Train, hospital, garbage strikes. Military called in to provide services. The Eight Years War Begins with the Baraki. They occupy Nissassa, Demod, and Puwai. Sarah becomes an Equalist activist and rejoins Naval School. Danni rejoins Naval School as well. Jenny Chambers born.

230- Deborah Lysing re-elected as Majestrix in the narrowest win in history.

231- Sarah joins Naval Academy.

232- March: Kayma graduates from Naval School. August: Kayma and Danni join Parid Naval Academy. Sarah and Kayma become friends.

233- Sarah starts dating Mike Monroe.

234- Lysing fires DOD Callaghan and brings on Nicola MacNair. After a brutal loss, MacNair rebels from Lysing and forms her own “Lost Fleet,” taking a third of the Navy with her, to liberate Nissassa.

235- Joanna Cayale elected Majestrix, taking a tougher stance against the Baraki aggression. Sarah is 16.

236- “Academia.” Kayma and Sarah go on a mission to rescue GA POWs from the Baraki, leading to their estrangement. The Eight Years War Ends. MacNair and the Lost Fleet go into self-imposed exile beyond Rim Sector.

237- Tabitha Laban, Joanna’s political rival, dies.

238- Danni meets Jonas Whitmore in the Academy.

239- Sarah graduates Academy.

240- Joanna Cayale is re-elected as Majestrix. Ronain massacre.

Kayma and Danni graduate Academy. Danni joins Navy. Kayma joins the Marines and undertakes illegal missions against the Baraki. Priya meets John Dooley and Sarah. Sarah marries Mike.

241- Priya marries John. Sonyia Cayale, Alex Jennings, Alex Pierce, and Cassidy Wells are born.

242- Kayma quits the Marines and transfers to Command. John Jennings killed in shuttle crash before Priya’s eyes; Alex is 1.

244- Ronain attack kills Stephen Walker’s wife and children. He has a mental breakdown and is demoted to Captain.

245- Joanna re-elected Majestrix for a third term.

246- Kayma starts a relationship with Carrie Williams.

247- Kayma befriends Stephen Walker and abandons Carrie.

249- The Walker Incident. Kayma’s friend Stephen Walker has a mental break and invades Ronain space. Kayma leads the defense and destroys a Ronain fleet, becoming a war hero. He transfers to the OSA on Parid. Kayma reconciles with Sarah.

250- Joanna re-elected for a fourth term.

253- Sonyia, Alex, Pierce, and Wells enter Academy at age 12. Bimissarri War. Mike is killed in action. Sarah Cayale goes rogue to score a major victory and becomes a war hero. Joanna dies, forcing Sarah (age 34) to promise to enter politics to become Majestrix. Senate Majority Leader Claudia Bordick becomes acting Majestrix.

255- Sarah Cayale elected Majestrix. Kayma takes over the OSA. The GA defeats MacNair’s Lost Fleet and sends them into exile. Kayma and Jenny begin their secret relationship. Wells’ mother is killed in a Ronain attack.

256- Kayma and Jenny are secretly married.

259- “MAED.” First Contact with Hadera.

March 260 GA, 840 NG, 11,431 SR, 2751 CE- “The Great Alliance.” Baraki attack Parid. Sonyia and Alex’s new power is awoken.

Nov 260- “Elective Results.” Majesterial Election. Sonyia, Alex, Wells, and Pierce graduate Academy.
